Tom is a seasoned credit union industry veteran with a wealth of experience and expertise. Having served in various senior leadership positions, Tom has demonstrated a keen understanding of the financial landscape. Additionally, he is the visionary Founder of a commercial loan servicing company and a collaborative shared-services entity dedicated to supporting the credit union community. Tom’s innovative spirit shines through his pivotal role in developing a forward-flow program tailored to serve the private student loan market, showcasing his commitment to spearheading impactful solutions within the industry.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Tom is deeply engaged in philanthropic pursuits. As an Advisory Board Member for First Step Alliance a non-profit striving to provide mainstream financial services to the recently incarcerated, and Vice-Chair for Arts4ACause, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding medical research for children, he extends his leadership and influence to meaningful causes. Tom’s multifaceted contributions underscore his dedication to both the credit union sector and the broader community, exemplifying his passion for driving positive change and making a lasting impact.
Steve is a Financial Services executive with proven leadership and entrepreneurial experience. He has over 40 years of experience as a C-Suite leader with significant responsibilities and oversight for P & L’s, revenue generation, product creation, global partnership development, market share, and acquisitions. Steve spent the early part of his career on Wall Street, where, for over 20 years, he had C-Level roles at several firms. His experience spans asset liability management, institutional banking and finance, government securities trading and brokering. After a successful career on Wall Street, Steve pivoted to the retail financial services sector and joined the United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) in 2003.
Steve served UNFCU for almost 16 years, holding the roles of President and CEO of UNFCU Financial Services and UNFCU Advisors and Chief Business Development Officer. Steve grew UNFCU’s non-banking financial services platform to serve United Nations staff and their families around the globe.
In 2019, after 16 years of service at the United Nations Federal Credit Union, Steve founded SJR IV Advisors to fulfill his vision and passion to help financial service companies grow revenue and profits by helping them deliver value driven financial products and services to the clients and members they serve.
David is a Wharton MBA and accomplished leader with a diverse, forty year career spanning C-level positions at companies and associations, management consulting and investment banking, venture-funded startups and government affairs at the national level.
David has been President, CrossState Solutions, the for-profit subsidiary of the CrossState Credit Union Association; Pres/CEO of the New Jersey Credit Union League; President, Burns-Fazzi, Brock & Assoc (now part of Gallagher Benefits); and President, NAFCU Services Corp, the for-profit subsidiary of the National Association of Federally Insured Credit Unions (now part of America’s. Credit Unions).
Prior to that, David helped companies of all sizes as a management consultant and investment banker as Managing Director–Washington DC for Gates & Company; founded and ran a venture-funded startup called Virtual Compliance; and had a full career in government affairs at the national level with the National Association of Manufacturers, the American Furniture Manufacturers Association, and Champion International Corp (now part of International Paper).
With over 25 years of executive experience in operations, capital markets, and private equity, Steve is known for his transformative leadership, innovative solutions, and for developing strong partnerships with investment banks, rating agencies, and institutional portfolio managers. He has led billions of dollars in consumer loan securitizations, both as an issuer and, most recently, as an advisor in the home improvement and elective medical lending sectors.
As the Managing Director of a private equity firm, Steve focused on acquiring large pools of consumer loans and leading significant real estate development projects. Prior to his tenure in private equity, Steve dedicated two decades to Holiday Inn Club Vacations, where he was instrumental in creating their Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) platform, forming their syndicated warehouse facilities, and raising the capital for multiple acquisitions that significantly expanded the company, culminating in a partial sale to a private equity fund. His expertise also extended to managing treasury operations, overseeing loan servicing, and collections, including default recoveries.
Steve began his career at Citigroup as a financial analyst, later serving as the Business Manager of the Caribbean for Sunterra (now part of Hilton Grand Vacations). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University.
